45Y wipers

anyone ever replace their wiper blades? i measured, and they're 47" in length...a quick stop by AutoZone on my way home shows no luck going the easy route. :) they max out at about 26" blades. i'd love to know the manufacturer so i can try to locate them, but if anyone happens to have the part #, that would be great. so far, i can only find 45" blades from AM Equipment...

You're looking for the Imtra 1200mm rubber inserts, $55/ea last week when I ordered them.

Got them online from yacht supply depot. Part number EX2132.001 .
 
i picked up some 18" ones from O'reilly's and they were a direct replacement, way too easy ;D so i'm thinkin' if ya glue 3 of the 16" ones together, ya might be able ta make that work :D ;). J/K, seriously, 47" blades??
 
Wizzy...thanks a bunch! i had called Formula, and they gave me EX216130 which is the entire wiper arm, and runs $170! $55 for the blade looks mighty nice right now. :D

FormulaTenn...shoulda seen the AutoZone guys face when i asked for a 4 foot long wiper blade. ;)

just for completeness apparently the newer 45's have a 39" blade which is part number EX216128.

I don't see any reason why the 39" blades wouldn't work just as well. They'd have a ton less windage and have to cost less. I bet they can be retrofit to the existing arms.
 
Thanks all for the wiper info. wizzie I ordered them from Yacht Supply Depot, had a little trouble with online but called them and they were sent right out.Thanks for the lead. I ordered the EX216128 blades . opted for the smaller blades since you only can see out of so much windshield and the originals were too damn big
