8.2 Gas Engines in 41PC

I'm considering a 2000 41PC with 8.2 gas engines. I'm just wandering if anyone can give me any experience good or bad with this set up.
 
Have not owned one
Being a BB the cooling system will be what's called a half system, so the exhaust manifolds are raw water cooled, no AF. This means the exhaust will need to be replaced every 5 to 7 years if in salt water.
 
I can imagine that boat would suck down the fuel. I suspect they were ordered that way on lakes where you didn't have far to go normally.
 
Divergirl has a 2002 with diesels for sale that is in top condition if interested. There is nothing wrong with gas but most people want the longevity and resale value diesels offer.
 
I had a 1995 34 PC with the 8.2 L gas engines. Wonderful 10 years...EXCELLENT POWER & Performance. 1000 miles per year, Yes ..drank gas like a college boy drinks beer! Enjoyed it. Note mine was a 34.
