85 F3 LS questions

I haven't found much info in the F3. However, it's a good boat for us to get comfortable with and I really want to make it our own. The Dash has faded over the years and I'd love to replace or refurbish it, any vendors out here that can help? Also, the through hull exhaust sounds great, but the pipes have 'baffles' welded into them, is it possible to removed them without it causing issues or is there a replacement exhaust pipe?

I'll post some more pictures of the boat. I'd love to connect with an F3 guru to get as much info on her as I can!! Thanks everyone!!!!
 
Also....
I have a 14 1/2 X 15 prop installed now. Previous owner said he preferred it.

He gave me a 14X20 prop, and the maintenance team that serviced it said it ran 52mph @ 4600.

What do y'all think is a better option?!
 
Props are usually a trade off. One may get you on plane quickly and have good midrange, another may have better top end but be sluggish to plane. Since you have both props, why not just try them and see which one performs more to your liking. My recommendation would to be contact BBlades.com, they have a good reputation for working with people to find the right prop.
 
we took her out and it was running 41-42 @ 4500 with two adults and a full tank after trimming her out, I installed the 14x20 Solas, we'll take her out this weekend and see how she performs!!
 
UPDATE!

With the 14x20 it was at 3500 @ 44-45 but we had 2 more adults and a child in the boat..... I was hoping for a little more top end.
 
GOOOOOD MORNING FORMULA OWNERS!!! Its just about boating season here in the SE, I'm swapping out the impeller and alternator on our ole F3, can't wait to buster her off for the first time this year!!!
 
I want to refurbish my throttle and dash. The current is all original and faded with paint cracking. Do anyone have suggestions on where to start and how or what I can replace the factory throttle with.
