A/C Condensate removal by venturi?

Good morning all. With humidity starting up in Houston, I thought I'd resurrect this discussion and see what others have done. The drainpan, while stainless, tends to collect upto about 3/4" of water when the A/C is used regularly. There is no blockage on the drain line going to the gray water sump. There is also no aft cant of the A/C unit, so, yeah, water collects and many other components of the A/C system are NOT stainless and starting to show rust.
Possible solutions:

Mermaid Venturi: EXPENSIVE. Does anyone have experience using this? https://www.mmair.com/marine-division/accessories/mermaid-condensator/

Fertilizer injector venturi: Cheap. Would want to add check valve, but that's not expensive either. https://www.amazon.com/Irrigation-V...584437&sr=1-3&keywords=3/4+Venturi+Fertilizer

Pool/Spa injector venturi: Relatively cheap. Higher grade plastic. https://pentairaes.com/venturi-injectors.html

I'd like feedback on solutions people have tried.

Also, on my 07 34PC, is the discharge hose on the A/C 1/2, 5/8, or 3/4?
Thanks!
Rick

i have used the Mermaid system and also figured out the individual pieces. It is cheaper to assemble the pieces but there's no liability insurance if your system fails. There's also filters and check valve with tubing and fittings. I would not advise using the plastic venturi for suction.
With all that said my suction hose is set up to draw directly from the bottom of the pan, not through the pan fittings and the pan stays completely dry. Love the results.

Thanks. I don't know that I see a downside of plastic parts as these are non-moving parts. I do like the all in one, and how much time will I waste assembling all the parts into a kit?

Do you have a pic of where you mounted the system? I looked in the compartment where the AC is and the outflow line if pretty rigid, and quite a distance from a wall.

The venturi in the outgoing hose handles a very large amount of water. If it would fail the water flow could create a real problem. The venturi is actually a car wash soap injection part. It comes with multiple inserts to vary the amount of fluid. I used the largest insert. My mounting for the suction hose was to wire tie it vertically almost on the bottom of the pan at the lowest spot. You end up spending a little over half the cost getting the duplicate parts but the time spent actually probably makes it more expensive. Mermaid makes a well thought out kit that really works well. Be sure to make the suction filter easily reached for cleaning. Sorry no pics right now, too far away from the boat.

Where did you mount the venturi assembly, or just leave it inline as the outflow hose is pretty stiff?

Mine is close to the ac unit and for it to work has to be in the outgoing water line. There's enough hose and materials in the kit to mount as needed.
