Adding cleats to swim platform

My 34 PC does not have the retractable cleats on the swim platform. Has anyone added these? Any recommendations?

I did on my 2004.

The factory uses Attwood Neat Cleats, although theirs are custom with the Formula logo.

I simply bought the cleats, measured 10x. Drilled pilot holes, measured again, drilled the final size.

I then carved out the coring by about a 1/2", taped the back side of the holes closed and filled them with thickened epoxy.

I then re-drilled and installed the cleats with 3M 4000 UV.

This is probably a better install than the factory.

For what it's worth, A guy hear last year was walking across his swim deck which came with factory installed cleats. He slipped and the cleat went right through the side of his foot
 
I know this is an old thread but wondering if JMWarren you could post the pics of the cleats installed.
