She worked with Nick B. from TAG at Formula and ordered it directly from them. I believe it is what they are using in the current production boats. I am trying to find the name of the product.
When I worked with TAG that is what they told me I would need just for the head. I guess there was some waste from cutting the curves and shortening the strips so the splices would be staggered.
I believe the vinyl strip flooring used by Formula is Amtico and the stock color for all of the boats with cherry cabinetry is American Cherry. http://www.mannington.com/commercial/Colorway.aspx?id=2772 You might be able to source it locally and save a little money!! I am planning to replace my cabin floors with the Amtico.
When my boat was at the factory I had them install the same stuff and it looks great. Not slippery when wet, very durable, and very easy to maintain. And yes you can get the same product from many flooring stores.
Well the Admiral is going for broke with this upgrade. I may actually get demoted to swab and be able to drink beer : We are going ahead with a combo bow/stern thruster combination. The bow thruster will be a tunnel and the rear thrust is a all-in-one unit that is mounted to the transom. Both units are centrally controlled from a unit mounted on the dash. This will allow complete lateral control and pure 360 spin in the center of the boat. Also this package will have a wireless remote control that can be used from anywhere on the boat. I have included a link to the system below and will point you to the pages that reference the devices mentioned above. I will update the forum with pictures as the project progresses. They are supposed to be finished before Memorial Day. We are really looking forward to having the "ALMOST AXIUS" control. ;D
