Aft tv

On my 2006 31 PC it was set into the galley cabinet, above the sink. I have since removed that TV and replaced the door.

Yea I agree have similar setup but when reading the brochure for my year boat it has an option for an aft tv. Was curious if anyone ever got the option

In the 2005 34 PC there was one in the aft cabin and one in the galley. The factory started installing them on the large panel in the aft cabin and we did not like it as it would be behind the aft curtains when closed.

So we simply installed a larger 32" TV with an articulating arm into the metal plate where the old TV was in the Galley, and we swing it left or right to get into the cabinets or watch from different angles. My son loves it and it makes for a great movie night.

As an aside we put a ROKU stick in the back of it and I buy an annual 3g/4g MIFI membership from the Calyx Institute so we have full wireless on the boat. I then also bought a Jackery solar generator, so when we are out playing the kids can plug the TV into the Jackery 500 - no GEN needed and watch TV.

In the 2005 34PC the aft cabin TV was hung on the door of the big cabinet in the aft and Formula wired an AC plug into that cabinet behind the door in the cabinet.

I'm in the midst of replacing it and putting in a bigger TV but Formula changed the door and moved the door "handle" lower so a wider TV could fit in the same spot. Ebelwood who makes the Formula doors is going to provide me with the new door, so I can then hang the bigger TV.
