I forgot to mention..my brother in Alabama is restoring a '83 F3-LS. I'll send some pics of it when I dig them out. He just had it in Destin, Fl for a week and had a blast...turned a lot of heads!! Added pics...these are about 2 months old...this boat has had 2: owners prior to my brother. Power is single 260 w/No. 1 Mercruiser. Engine was rebuilt in 2000. My brother had to replace manifolds and risers. Boat runs in low 40 mph range and won't break 4000 RPM at WOT w/19" prop. I think there is tuning to be done. I told him he should see close to 50 and about 4500~4600 RPM. Boat is in great shape with fresh interior and recent Imron.
