Ok with the chain off will the rear roller tilt up enough to replace just the rear roller
From what I’ve read to replace the roller assembly requires removal of entire carrier?

I had to remove the entire assembly on 27PC however this was not as difficult as it may sound. Remove the half a dozen or so screws from the top of the frame score the silicon with knife and push the unit up and out of the boat. Obviously reseal when you bed it back into the boat. I could not find that exact size roller ANYWHERE I ended up ordering through formula

Pull the carrier. Use loctite blue on the screws holding the shaft in place once ready to assemble.
