Anchor slam latch

Anyone replace there anchor locker latch. Mine is white 2 ID and bought one from Amazon and the cheap latch won't even retract all the way. Also had to file a bit where the 2 cheap screws where used to hold it together. Need a good latch or if someone knows the OEM

Edit: looks like it uses the standard 2 inch hole, so explains the filing I needed, but not that the latch didn't fully retract. Only moved above half way

This is the one I installed but didn't work

Ad you posted says 2-1/4? hole? Oooof, thats more than a little filling. I feel your frustration.
Maybe this? https://www.defender.com/product3.j...latch&path=-1|7504|2290180|2290185&id=1342150
Couple yrs ago someone at a transient dock swiped my SS pump out cap. I am on 2 attempts now ordering off Amazon with no luck. Next call is to Formula whenever I call there they are happy to quote me the original part based on hull ID (Always the first question) and tell me who the OE is and p/n. If it?s something NLA they will tell you that too. That?s likely my next move. Amazon cap $35. From Formula I guess $100. But sick of dinking around.

I like how every opening, hinge, latch, holder, etc. is different on the same boat. you want to save money during building... standardize! I swear they make things difficult on purpose.

I suppose, but it seems like Formula chose the route of best fit and function for each part/assembly vs saving money.

Searay saves money everywhere they can, or at least it looks like it on the ones I've seen.
