Hello all,
I have a 2000 280SS with twin B3. I frequent a swimming beach in a protected area where my kids love to jump off and swim for an hour or so. I generally tool around and shop for my next boat (plenty of 50 - 90 foot Vikings to look at ). I have noticed other folks "beaching" their boats and hanging out. This includes some boats that (to me) look pretty big to be doing so, and they also have stern drives.
Family wants to do this too. If I put the drives up with the trailer trim, and then ease into the beach, can I let her "rest" on the bottom? There is no wave action here as we are well into an inland area where the water is still.
Appreciate the input....
