Best flooring material and adhesive to update cabin on an '05 40PC

I have the original carpet in my 40PC and wanting to start the updating process. It has a few small stains from the previous owner but I'm not much of a carpet guy to begin with. I have a lot of luxury vinyl tile (LVT) planks at 4 1/2" width left over from a remodel and the color would go great with the interior cabinet colors.

Question is: has anyone used LVT before and what kind of adhesive did you use? Also wondering how the transition was made to the aft berth area (the one step down). Any recommendations / pictures would be greatly appreciate.

LVT/LVP is a great option for flooring. I just did this last winter on my boat and posted about it here: Flooring Replacement
As far as adhesive goes, I used Loctite Power Grab Heavy Duty and used a v-notch trowel to spread it before laying the flooring onto it. I did do some testing with it prior to actually using it to make sure it would work well and it did. After almost a full season of use, all is still good.
