Binding Transom Door - Fixed

I finally fixed the transom door on our 370, posting in the Super Sport section but may apply to other models.

The transom door on our 370 rubbed the back seat cushion and engine cover since the day we bought it used last year. It rubbed so badly it was tearing up the vinyl on the cushion and gouged the gel on the engine cover. I won't bore you with all the things I did to try and fix it and go directly to the fix (which was totally by accident).

Followers of the forum may have seen my post where I discovered a broken deck brace while chasing down a rattling noise (Broken Stanchion). Turns out the broken brace was allowing the floor to sag and cause the door to bind. Once I repaired the brace and installed it, the door no longer binds

My door binds, but I don't think 31 PC's have a deck stanchion. However, that might be a solution to my problem (adding a stanchion or brace).

My 34PC binds too, I've sanded the edge which made a big difference but still need to shave a bit more off for it to close freely

I wouldn't want to sand the door if the problem is elsewhere. Something is going on with either the bulkhead (where the hinge is screwed) or the deck to make it bow in. No clearance at the top of the door, but at least a 1/4 inch clearance at the bottom...plus it isn't like the door is a tall door.
