We used to make reservations for Champlin's way in advance. The last few years I find it never seemed to make a difference. Dockage assignments aren't assigned until you hail them on the radio while sitting out front at the fuel dock. We always get in. Early in the week seems to be the least crowded to arrive. Always very helpful crew.
 
Yeah things are shaping up, it looks like we will be in Block around the 3/4week of June. I gotta get busy and make my reservations!!
 
CT Formula - will keep an eye out. Keep us posted where you book. I'm launching 5/15 and running up from Rex. 6 weeks!
 
NICE!! Yeah man I'm pushing to be in next weekend so we shall see where were at. I'll be sure to let you know when and where. But Block is going to rock this year!!
 
Ok So I'll post our 2020 Block Island booking as we never made it last year due to work not cooperating with our boating season plans.
 
Yeah, the new owners are a large vacation/resort company that has no other marinas. They are clearly new to this space and have officially pissed off all of Champlins long-time customers (myself included) by doubling their prices last year. They used to be 4-5$ per foot and are now 9-10$ and offer seasonal slips that they keep open when you aren't there.
