A friend emailed this little boat docking simulator that’s online. It's not too I-phone friendly but still fun and a lot of cool features and tool that might be a little useful for someone new to docking. You pick type of dock, wind direction, wind speed, current etc. Check it out its free.
The website is theboatdocker.com

Cool thanks. I was just signing in to start a docking game thread! Good timing. I don't want to steal you ur thread but it seems to be justified to add to it! Here goes: two docking techniques for twins compared. I ordered a download called Dawson's. He talks about better docking and recommends a technique I was told not too do back when I owned my 330. He recommends backing in like a car using steering and outside motor only. He claims this is superior and you will be a Dock g hero in the end. I seem, in my limited time doing this, to be better at leaving the drives centered and steering with the props in forward and reverse. Like the big inboards. So.... can we do a poll here? How do all of you with twin bravos do it?

I do a little of both with the drives centered and steering wheel I’m really trying just to use my outdrives but every now and then I just loos my mind (I panic)

i keep my drives straight only alternating forward/reverse sticks to pivot the boat around when backing into the slip

Cool simulator! First time I tried it, crashed into a boat at the dock. Seems that I'm much better live than online, but the Axius helps tremendously!

Thanks for simulator. Was still learning to dock my twin bravos. I only had for a few weeks before she was hauled for the season. Tried both ways but tough either way as winds fought me each time I returned to my tight fitting dock. Good thing for helpful neighbors!!

Looking forward to trying again next year.

Drives straight and touch-in/touch-out technique on throttles in reverse from side to side as required but if wind catches the bow all best are off.
Always looking to improve so I'll have to give this a try!

well...its fun to play with for sure. I don't think it will be helpful for real life unless they come up with joy sticks. Pushing all the keys is tough.

It will give newbies an idea how there outdrives work docking techniques direction with throttle controls, and at least its fun to play for a little while also gives northerners a boat game to play during winter months LOL
