hey guys,
i got a new to me 94 252LS and had it out a couple times the end of this year but in storage now. it just seems to me like it dosent look as shiny as it could. it seems a little dull in appearane. what do you guys do to freshin up the appearance? i waxed it and used polish but doent really seem to help the dullness to much. I know it sat for about 2 years before i bought it and not sure how frequently it was washed, waxed, etc. thanks for you inputs.

I actually wet sanded my hull this past summer. It was raining one weekend and I was touching up a few spots on the hull, just a few light nicks here and there and I just decided what the hell... I had 2000 grit and just went over all the white very lightly. I then hit it with a wool pad with some 3M Perfect It. I followed that with a couple coats of collinite and I was very happy with the results. So much so that I'm contemplating doing the same to the top deck. It just got rid of that haze/dullness that your referring to.

Is that 3M perfect it on a wool pad by hand or electric buffer?

of course always do a test area first before you dive right in. especially if your new to wet sanding and polishing.
