Cabin Bilge - where is the float?

I have a 2002 Formula 27PC. I know where the stern bilge pump and float switch is. I know where the Shower sump pump and float switch is. I know where the cabin bilge diaphragm pump is (starboard/stern), but I DON"T KNOW WHERE THE FLOAT SWITCH IS FOR THE CABIN BILGE.
Any help? Am I missing something here? Thanks!

Pending a hit from an actual 27pc owner, here's a thought from a 31pc owner. Check under the seat cushions in your aft berth.

Thanks Kimo. I'll check it out and let you know.
I think the float switch would be near the mid/forward area, which is the lowest point.

Under the aft mattress there is a small access in the floor roughly 6"x14" it is just to the right of the stairs I believe, lift that access out of the way and your float switch is down there, real fun to replace/clean I'm guessing your bilge pump is running non stop because the float switech is mounted to a piece of metal that rotted away and the float fell on its side and is now either turning on intermittently or running constantly?

Best of luck

Thanks guys. This is very helpful.
I'll let you know how it goes.
Working on the boat tomorrow evening.
Dunne3616: I removed the aft mattress and found the removable 6x14 floorboard. Removed the piece...now I'm ready to get in there fix this darn thing.

It turns out, my intake hose was clogged, which caused the diaphragm in the cabin bilge pump to overwork and malfunction. I ordered a repair kit, which allows me to essential rebuild the diaphragm portion of the cabin bilge pump.
I'm sweating just describing...let alone doing it. LOL

float switch

I have a 1999 27 PC. there is a panel you can lift up just aft of the cabin step and head bulkhead in the mid berth area. see picture attached.

You are the man Larrys 27PC!
There it is, that little float switch. DANG.
This will be hard to manauver, but I'M GOIN' IN.
Thanks all

There is a small knob on the side of the float switch that you can turn to raise the float inside. Mine was stuck down and after turning it about 10 times it freed up.

I didn"t have to replace it.

Good Luck!

Thanks very much guys. I found it and cleaned up down in the belly of the beast.
I also changed all the parts in the cabin bilge pump (diaphragm, etc...) and all is working nicely.
Enjoy the season and be safe!

Hi Adolpho, did you rebuild the diaphragm pump or buy a replacement? The kit looks to be about $70 vs. $180 for a new pump. I was going to order the kit as mine kicked on the other night when a bag of ice inadvertently was left out and kicked on the cabin bilge, pump feels like its discharging at the thru hull port but will not prime (inlet hose is clear).
