City water check valve

I'm trying to locate the check valve that prevents "city water" from entering the fresh water tank. I'd appreciate any feed back form some one that's been there done that. I want to install a bypass loop and fill the tank using the city water fill. I pulled the refrigerator out and couldn't locate it.

I love the one point fill setup but you need to think about the way you set it up if you're doing it yourself. Factory setup is a solenoid wired to a three way switch under the sink with a tank level monitor. When you choose to "fill tank" the solenoid opens and fills tank until the tank monitor reads full and then the solenoid closes. It would be way to easy to start filling the tank only to get sidetracked and over fill the tank.

Thanx for all the advice guys. I appreciate it. I still need to know where the check valve is located on a '95 31PC.

From reading the above referenced post in the mod section I believe the pump itself acts as the check valve. Looks like the mod is just bypassing the pump. Good to know that overflow goes out the vent, I thought it might end up getting the mattress wet.

Thanks for the info that the pump acts as the check valve. My pump is under the V berth. I see some interesting leak proof plumbing coming up.

First time posting sorry if I'm doin it wrong...I'm looking for a check valve as well but my problem is that I have never used city water on my 2001 PC31 until last weekend and it worked great until I removed the hose and turned on the pump system...water can shooting out of the inlet for the city water connection...is there a check valve back there?? ....and I fill my tank at the bow i don't think i have the relay under the sink...any help would be great !!

Well, I think it is integrated...meaning you can replace the whole unit. Not sure if there is a separate check valve, I replaced the whole unit on my 27PC and did not see a check valve. Perhaps someone else has a definite NO CHECK VALVE, stay tuned.

The check valve is integrated into the pressure regulator at the hose connection, like toofast said. It's about $45 to replace the regulator from WM.
