Control panel instructions - help

In your photo you have AC power from your generator. As long as the DC main breakers are on you should be able to toggle both battery test buttons and see voltage on DC gauge. To be more accurate of battery health turn off AC battery charger breaker so you are checking batteries only.

If gauge does not register DC voltage then perhaps bad gauge. You will need the key and check the wiring in back.

Thank you so much. You are correct. When I press the Gen battery toggle it doesn't register on the gauge. Sorry it took me so long to get to that point with you guys replying. I appreciate ALL responses to help me determine issues with my boat regardless of year or style. I know have a direction that perhaps it is the gauge that's bad and a meeting with an electrician on Wednesday to assist. Thank you NC Robert for your advice and clarification.

I have not looked at my panel but I am assuming that what you are referring to is a simple volt meter for the house battery. This would be an extremely simple battery check. Voltage can show up fairly high and the battery can be almost dead. A much better approach is an SOC, State of Charge, meter. Balmar makes one that is pretty well reviewed. Check out marinehowto.com for an article on SOC meters.

Mine doesn not work either, please if you could let me know your findings.

So I met with the electrician. He determined the voltmeter was bad. We had to order online. If anyone wants part numbers, etc. let me know. Thanks for all the help. My next projects are looking for the air horn pump, since that doesnt work and replacing rear hatch switch.

The air horn pump is located up under the port side seat, shaped like hockey stick. At least in mine it is. You have to bend down and look up to see it.
