DIAMONDS OR DIESEL??

What an interesting question. More diamonds would merely net you something to wear on "ocassion." More diesel will get you to the dance on time, or fashionably late, but it would be your choice. And your arrival would be an ocassion in and of itself. So after a 37PC, the choice narrows to 40PC, which simply nets you more beam and 2 stools at teh dinette; 48 yacht, a lot more beam, a washer/dryer in the aft and the biggest boat in the fleet; or the 45 yacht, in a class by itself.
I think I'll go looking for a husband if thats the kind of questions you can ask them! But I think I'm a "husband" already, does that make a difference?

Thank you for your gentlemanly advice. I have always had such guidance by my personal friends and my professional colleagues.
He gave me diamonds; said I am on my own with the diesel. Guess I'll have to let him pick up the next fuel bill.

Hit him with the fuel bill, then tell him if you had bigger diesels you could run them at lower RPM's, which means they would not burn so much fuel so fast. Just don't tell him the bigger diesels ahve to be put in a bigger hull which weighs more which in turn means you have to push the throttle forward a bit more, but you get the picture
