Diesel Engine Cooling System

To the owners for diesels, how often do you have your cooing system drained and refilled with new coolant ?

I know Volvo on the D4 and D6 engines required a 2 year replacement on the coolant.

I've also read about SCA (supplemental coolant additives) for diesel engines to help with cylinder wall pitting, etc.

Yanmar recomends every 2 years. I don't know anything about SCA.
