Do the PC's crossfeed gas tanks?

So with my bad starboard tank on my 07 40PC I want to bring it to my home shop for the tank removal/replacement. The question is, do the tanks crossfeed so I can run both engines on just the port tank?

Not sure about the 40, but the 34 does not crossfeed. The explanation I got was if one tank was contaminated I could still get home on one engine. Not sure I buy that, though. Would be nice if they did crossfeed, as the genset pulls from the port tank which can throw off the balance if I run the gen for a long time.

Confirmed - anything newer than 2000 does not crossfeed. Older than 2000 had a crossfeed system available.

Turns out it's a moot point because they already have gone ahead at the shop it's at. But at least I know it doesn't cross feed for future reference

So, does a model year 2000 crossfeed or not? Not being a wise guy, but mine is a 2000 and i'd like to know.
Good luck with your project.

asically anything around 2000 and newer will run individual tanks. Older PCs like 90s 34 and 41 had a fuel valve system that you could control with levers but customers were too confused by it so they simplified it to run independent with each."

When we first got our 34pc I wondered why no transfer valves, but then I really can't see much of a reason for them in good operation when making sure both are plenty full.
