Just in case anyone else is considering something similar, I thought I would post these pictures of my two e-bikes on the swim platform of my 430SSC.
The factory offers stand-up paddle board holders as an option. But when I was ordering my boat I asked if they could provide a mount for my e-bikes instead. They used the same drop-in mount as the SUP holders but instead provided the Thule bike racks shown. The mounts are offset a bit fore-aft which is different than the SUP rack - so the mounts are not interchangeable. They are pretty sturdy but I tie the bikes down with ratchet straps as well. The seas were a little sporty on the way back from Martha's Vineyard yesterday but the bikes came through it unscathed. I don't like giving them a salt water spray treatments but I give them a freshwater rinse as soon as we dock and spray down the electronics connectors with CRC-56. Fingers crossed.
I would say it was awesome to have our bikes with us on the Vineyard this weekend. It opens up a bunch more things to do while visiting.
