I have an E120 delivered with the boat. I then got the Navionics Platinum Plus card. In order to get the E120 to work, I had to update the E120 by downloading new Raymarine software from the Raymarine website thru my computer onto a memory card (same type of card as in the E120 display). I had to buy a memory card reader/writer and then load this memory card into the E120 display. Alternatively you can get this memory card with the upgrade software already on the memory card by giving them your credit card info. They will charge you $ 40., but then credit you back the $40. after you return the card after updating your display.
Anyway, the GPS part worked fine, but the radar would not work, until I did a re-boot of the system. There are instructions on the Raymarine web site or you can call a technical support directly at Raymarine. I do not know the direct number, but you can call directory assistance and ask for Raymarine located in Merrimack or Nashua, NH. I hope this helps.
