Exhaust elbow leak

I just noticed today that I have a small water leak from my starboard exhaust elbow.
Its not a lot but any is too much. I tried tightening the clamp got a few turns on it but the
leak didn’t stop. Does this really mean I need to replace the elbow or can it possibly be just
reseated? I don’t know how long ago they were changed. Anyone else have a leak here and repair it?
A new one is is over $1000. Ugh
 
First things, first. drain down the manifold and disassemble the elbow to inspect the joint. If all looks OK (not too much deterioration of the mating surfaces), then replace the gasket and re-assemble. Often the gaskets start to leak and just need to be replaced.
