Fender Hanging Hardware

Formula Fender Hangers.jpgFormula Fender Hanger.jpg Congratulations on your new boat!! I saw these on the Formula Website. 40PC. Were these available as an option on your boat? Im sure you can purchase them from Formula. I am interested in them as well.
 
A friend bought a new 370 SS and the next year they offered the ones 409 pictured as an option. He ended up putting them on his boat, I think they are made by Tasco. They are slick and he loves them.

I have them on my boat and they are cool. But they only really work for my 'home dock'. It is virtually impossible to tie up at a dock anywhere and have the height and location correct. By the time you reset one of the fender hangers for the dock you are visiting I could have 3 fenders tied off on cleats. In addition you can only hang fenders where you put the quick connects. With bow rails and cleats you can put fenders in a lot more locations. Again, very cool but understand their limitations.

What hanging products were you looking at? I have one type I have been using for years and its really easy but needs a rub rail in the location you want a fender.
