Formula Boat Forum "T-Shirts"

Good evening my fellow Formula Boat Forum Captains and Captainette's.

After attending the recent Atlantic City Boat Show I realized that I may have been standing right next to one of you without knowing it.

That said, since I nor my Wife have met the majority of you face-to-face wouldn't it be a great idea to not only market the Formula Boat Forum website but Formula Boats as well by wearing a T-Shirt. The T-Shirt could have the Formula Logo, the name of the Website i.e. (including your Screen name) and Boat Name.

Darla D. Hall of Stitches by SWYCE has done a bunch of work for me aka "Unforgettable" who I am pretty sure could come up with a fairly straightforward design at a reasonable price/turnaround.

To make ordering/delivery simpler, once the design was approved, individuals could deal directly with Darla.

Please send me a personal email if this is something that y'all would like me to pursue on behalf of the Forum.....
 
I have a local EmBroidMe store who has also done a bunch of stuff for us but nothing regarding Formula Boats Forum. Before you get too far down the pike make sure you don't have any copyright infringement issues. Boat name/location are always popular items to have on a t-shirt/jacket, etc. I'll try to post a picture of - no I won't, it's all on the boat! Let me see if I've got something laying around....good idea, carry on! 8)
 
Gut tells me that if we/you try to use the Formula Logo (even though we are doing it for the right reasons) it might be an issue...don't mean to be a downer..but just sharing what I have experienced in the past.
 
I would think that we could use the FORMULA "font" without using the Thunderbird Logo with formulaboatsforum.com underneath. Both could be on the left hand sleeve. The Boat name could be on the left hand front of the T-Shirt.
 
There's absolutely no law against using the Eurostyle Bold Extended font for whatever you'd like, if you know what I mean.

I'm in, but I don't expect to run into many other forum members out here. :)

That said, I do introduce myself to about every Formula owner I can find when I can.
 
They didn't yell at us yet :-X Then again they don't say much to me.

We have banners, flags, tshirts, polos etc. I like branding/marketing its fun lol.

Listen to Boilerdaddy he knows his stuff. ;D
