Formula Guard

Just wanted to post a positive experience I just had with Formula Guard. The shop that works on my boat is an independent two man operation who has worked on all my boats for years. My trim gauge was stuck in the up position all last year and I wanted it fixed, He told me the total cost would be about $400 because the sending unit was bad so that was what I was looking at for parts and labor. I asked him to call Formula Guard to see if they would cover the repair with him doing it and what do you know. The owner of the shop said it could not have been any easier for him to get the approval he needed and guess what...my gauge works again. Thanks Formula Guard!

In times of everything negative in the boating industry, nice to hear a POSITIVE on the Formula Guard !! one reason why we bought a formula !!

I've had the same problem, a faulty trim sender since the beginning of last season, but my dealer refused to recognize an issue with it. I found out just the other day that merc sells a rebuild kit for the sender that costs $16 so I bought it and should have it in a few days. It will only take me about 10 minutes to install. If the trim sender wiring is intact then you probably only need this kit. Merc part number 805134A4
