FT LAUDERDALE SHOW

Formula Tenn,,are you trying to get me in trouble? No doubt gentlemen all!

Committed..same???yes and no..both many, many boats but Lauderdale easier to get around IMO. I have been to each twice and this will be # 3 for Lauderdale. More things other than boats at the Lauderdale show too. With the downturn in the economy this year, many vendors were not at Miami that we had seen previously. This may be the case now also.

We will be leaving Monday to drive there. I will have my computer to keep track of you..I read the forum regularly.

ethel, ya'll have fun and be careful down there. check out this pic i think it's pretty cool :)

Went to Miami in 2009.

The thing I liked the most were all the other mfg displays (vp, merc, kohler, etc) besides Formula.

It was nice to be able to see engines, generators, drives, etc all up close and speak with the reps...

The show was after the econmic collapse of 2008 so was not a good representation of what a real miami show was normally like as told to us.

I'VE ONLY BEEN TO ANNAPOLIS, WHICH IS A GREAT SHOW. WOULD LOVE TO DO LAUTERDALE AND MIAMI SOME DAY.

We have been to Newport, Norwalk ,Javits, Annapolis and Miami. Annapolis is great town with a great show. My favorite would have to be Miami. It's the biggest with the most to see. To see it all it will take 3 days. Lots of boats that you can go for rides on. In the middle of winter it can be nice to go out in the warm Florida waters.

gwazoo27 has the most convincing post so far. Miami, lots to see, some rides available, warm water, I like it all! ;D
