Well... an in-line fuel sensor would need to be added if my engines aren't NMEA 2000 - At least that's what I believe.
If my engines are NMEA 2000 compliant - which I think means that they would also have a NMEA 2000 connection point - then I wouldn't need a seperate fuel flow sensor (Garmin GLS 10 for example).
Still researching as I have not heard back from my dealer yet.
You're right though... the NMEA 2000 network seems like a very easy install.
