LAST NIGHT OIL WASHED UP ON THE BEACHES AT GRAND ISLE LA. NOW THE BEACHES ARE CLOSED. B.P. AND OTHER COMPANIES ARE PASSING THE BUCK ON WHO IS TO BLAME. I REFUSE TO PLAY THIS GAME! I WOULD LIKE TO REQUEST THAT ALL FORMULA FORUM MEMBERS,WRITE OR E-MAIL YOUR CONGRESSMAN AND SENATOR,EVEN THE PRESIDENT. AND DEMAND THAT B.P. IS NOT TO BE LET OFF THE HOOK FOR THIS AVIODABLE ACCIDENT. IF YOU THINK IT'S NOT WORTH YOU TIME, GO TO CBS .COM OIL SPILL REACHES GRAND ISLE.AND THINK , WHAT IF THIS HAPPENED IN MY BACK YARD. THANKS FOR ANY HELP GIVEN GUY'S.
 
CPP, don't be discouraged by the lack of responses here, you are getting plenty of "reads." Since the forum is about water activity we are all involved in this one. And the culprit is making plenty of bucks off of our activity. Maybe not directly, but every one of us is burning gas, and the more we can burn the happier we are! This one IS in our backyard, or if not the backyard, it's at our marina ??? ::) :eek:

THAT MEANS A WIDE OPEN FLOW OF OIL. AND IF THE DOME KILL FAILS,WE'RE SCREWED BIG TIME. 90 TO 180 DAYS TO DRILL A RELIEF WELL.DON'T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKES WE DID HERE IN LA. Such a sad situation, but reality intodays corporate culture.

I find it absolutely appaling how the BP CEO "can't wait to get his life back". He should be ousted. All the lives that are changed forever and all he wants is his life back.
 
THAT SORRY S.O.B. WON'T EVEN COME TO LOUISIANA,OR ANY OTHER GULF STATE, AND SEE FOR HIMSELF WHAT'S GOING ON! I SMELL A CHAPTER 11 PLAY COMING ON AFTER THIS HELL HOLE IS CAPED OFF.
 
They should have halted trading on BP stock the minute the rig caught fire. This way they would still have billions to fix the mess.

All owners of BP stock are responsible to some extent...... Just my 2cents!
