HHH air conditioning code

Can anyone offer advise before I call for service. When I turn on my air at the dock, it comes on but after about 2 1/2 min an error code of HHH displays and no more cold air. The manual says check the sea strainor, which I did. It is clean and when I opened it , water flowed out continuously . If the thru hull is clear( assumed by the water flowing out of the top of the strainer} and the filter was clean, what else can cause the HHH?

Silly question what it runs for a few minutes is water flowing strong out of the through hull.

Toofast. You hit it on the head I think. There is no water at all coming thru the unit. The strainer is clean and getting water. It is apparently stopping there. Not sure what the next step is. There is a pump or electric motor up line about a foot from the strainer and it appears to be running when I touch it.

The A/C raw water pump on my 370 isn't self priming (I assume the same is true on your '02). If you've had the boat out of the water and the seacock was left open, all the water in the system will have drained out. To bleed the air out there is a small valve between the the outlet side of the strainer and the pump. Open it and leave it open until you have a steady stream of water coming out, this will get the system primed again.

Thanks Andrew. I think I saw what you are talking about. A brass looking gadget with a lever between the strainer and the pump.

Thanks all of you. I t works perfectly now. There was water in but not out until I opened the little valve just after the pump and let water out thus priming the pump.

Glad it was a simple fix, seems like they're few and far between on a boat. [emoji106]
