How does Imron respond...

I have some minor scratches in my Imron.
Does the Imron hold up to a mild rubbing compound to remove them?

I've personally used non-abrasive compound such as Buff Magic and it worked out great...not sure if I would try an abrasive based...but I am sure someone else has experience and will pip up quickly.

3M FINESSE IT II WORKS GREAT, BUT IS NOT THAT ABRASIVE. THAT IS THE ONLY EXPERIENCE I HAVE.

I tried mile rubbing in an inconspicuous spot and it hazed the clear coat.

I have also used 3M Finesse It ll and am very pleased with the results.

Did my the boat hull with finess it II. some spots needed more so i used the collinte cleaner wax then followed up with finess it II. i have clear coat over silver imron.,

Thanks for the suggestions.
It is now 4 weeks later than I have ever been pushed for launching due to cold weather.
(Global warming?? Not in LOTO!)

And yet, 66 degrees and rainy, I am heading in this weekend. AT least start cleaning and stocking supplies.

Has anyone tried "Rejex" by Corrosion Block? Phenomenal shine, it makes the Formula Imron finish look like a mirror. It does not have chalk removing properties, but it is an excellent finishing product.
