I was supprized thet my 1970 233 only had a hull thickness of about 1/4 inch up where the thru hull for the toilet was and 5/16" about 3' foward fo the transom where I put a raw water pickup. Just wandering how thick everyone elses hulls were and why mine was so thin? My 1979 20' grady was about 3/4". Maybe my formula was a friday afternoon made boat???

I filled a through hull transducer in mine, it was just aft of the last bulkhead. It was about 1/4" as well. I thought it seemed thin, but I'm not an engineer, and it has stood up well so far.

Let me go drill a hole and I'll get back to ya ;D

LOL, all I know is that when you knock on it it's like a rock everywhere below the chine rail.

I know my ol FourWins Liberator was considerably thinker than my Formula. You could bang on it with the side of your fist and it din't move. My Formula seems like my fist is going through. :-\
I did have a thru hull drain for my cooler oout of the Lib and 3 inches about the chine it was almost an inch thick. I'm sure the Formula isn't that thick.
