Hydraulic Swim Platform

How many 2001 37PCs came with the hydraulic platform?
I have read that the factory did not suggest having one on a under 40' boat and that it would hurt the performance but....
the main brochure picture from the 2001 37pc has a waverunner sitting on the platform!
The 2001 37pc platforms all look to have the hinged hardware in place and the platform is split and seperate from the main hull.
Can someone shed some light on this?

I might be wrong,,The 2001 37 pc became the 40pc as we know it today.

I have the hydraulic platform on my 06. Being that the 01 37PC is really the 40 it can be put on your boat. We love our platform. I keep a 200 lb inflatable on it. Any time you put any extra heavy weight on the your platform it will take away from performance and fuel usage, especially with a 600 lb jet ski. Your boat was built to have one if ordered that way. That is why the platform is separate from the boat. Also that is why the boat was originally called a 37, because that is what it truly is.
