Lewmar Windlass Extension

OK, I have searched here, searched the web, made some phone calls...nothing. My 31PC has a Lewmar windlass. There is a windlass handle mounted with rubber holders by the windlass. There is also another set of rubber holders in there. From pictures I have seen on other boats, there is supposed to be what I will call a handle extension mounted there. It's missing, and I would love to find that piece. Any thoughts?

I went on the same hunt as both of my components were missing when I bought my boat and could not locate that extension either. I just bought a winch handle this off season to try and see if I really need the extension or not. I do not believe the windlass is manual if the power or motor fails. I just want to loosen the clutch a little.
