Looking for an Attwood V750 Model 4207 Shower Sump Pump

I think this may have been discontinued.
Has anyone replaced the Attwood V750 Model 4207? Is there another model I can use that's the same exact size?

I would suggest reaching out directly to Attwood. When I first got my boat, it was missing the cover plate for the sump box. I called Attwood simply to get the part number and they sent me a new one for free.

If your sump has gone bad, I highly recommend replacing it with the whale gulper IC:

It's probably $100 more than replacing the Attwood, but I did this a year ago, and it's made all the difference in the world. There's no sump to clean out (had to do monthly) and there's no mechanical float switch to go bad (had to replace ~ every other year). Our shower has never drained better, and it doesn't really matter what goes down. The key piece is that water-sensing manifold that uses embedded sensors that don't touch the water - nothing to corrode/clog.

Very interesting solution Undercover. Thanks for sharing your experience.

How did you plumb your multiple inputs into the existing shower sump with the Whalepump hardware? I've got multiple cabin sinks, head floor drain and A/C condensate all plumbed into the various inlet stubs on my sump box.

I see that Whalepump has a small grey water holding tank that might fit the bill, but its bigger than the Attwood shower sumps (I believe) and forces an external mounting of the pump. I'm not sure it will all fit in the limited space on a 310SS when that time comes.

How did you fit the various pieces together?

I basically teed them into the input side of the pump and didn't use a tank. It's set up as an on demand thing. I've got a picture somewhere - let me find that, and I'll post it up.

I don't have a picture handy - thought I took one of the new setup, but I didn't. I'll snap one next time I'm on the boat. IIRC, the gulper pump came with the "manifold" that has 2 inputs and 1 output on the sensor body. I connected the shower drain hose to one input and the galley & head sinks (combined on our 31) hose to the other input. The output of the manifold goes to the input on the pump, and the pump output connects to the overboard discharge line. I had to use a few elbows to get everything to fit in the cubby where the original attwood sump box originally resided.

That's the key info I was looking for. Helpful. Thanks. A picture would be a bonus, but I have the "picture" now.

Got the boat out for the 4th and snapped a few pictures. Here's a before/after for comparison, and loving that fast shower drain!

Since I started this string, I wanted to get back to you all and say thanks for the ideas and suggestions. I successfully took the pump out, took it apart and cleaned it. It's working, although I think I will have to replace sometime soon.

Does anyone know about how best to clean the berth mattress covers made by Thunderbird Products Corp (they're made of 70% Urethan Foam and 30% Polyester Fiber). I'm almost certain they cannot be machine washed. Tips would be appreciated.

I like the concept but curious what happens if the pump goes bad or the circuit is tripped. Does the water just backup in the drain?

Yes, it does. In an emergency, I would just pull the house at the bottom of the manifold and let it drain into the cabin bilge. (Which is where a faulty sump box would overflow to anyway)
