Navionics Chart Cartridge

Good Morning,
I have a Raymarine E 120 W that has no chart cartridge in it. I want coverage on much of the East coast and Navionics has receommended the Navionics+ East Region Card. which covers South Carolina to Maine. Looking for reviews on the Navionics cards. is there any advantage to using the Platinum?

I use them on Lake Erie, so cant help on those specific areas.

I think Platinum ONLY gives your actual aerial views and real pictures - which for ME is a great help where I boat.

Okay I have another question in reference to the Navionics chart cartridge. I want to create routes using a MacBook but all the software I see out there is PC windows based. Anybody have any suggestions on any reasonable software or Apps that will work on a Mac that I can then transfer to the Raymarine plotter I have.

Other than run an emulator program on the MAC, not sure a true MAC version exists......
