Hello everyone,
I’m new here! But I’ve looked around a lot and I see a great community going on. I’d like to be a part of it.
I bought this boat last summer and am going to get it out on the water this summer. No issues - it looks great. Some confusion with identifiers, though.
The title has it listed as a 1967 Formula - S/N: 717206J. It’s listed that way on the original placard, as well. From what I gathered there is usually a year made, year model, and J seems to mean December. But it does not add up to me.
There is also another indicator in old raised-letter label tape that says 67-17-3400.
I’ll add a couple of photos for help identifying. Thanks for any input!
Also, there’s nothing wrong with this thing except for the fold out seats could use replacing. Has (what the separate title says) a 1978 Johnson 115 V4. Runs great.
Please let me know if any information you guys have regarding this particular model. Basically zero literature.
Disregard the children in the photos - they already have proper identification! Ha!
