New Transom Mounted Grill for 34PC

Did anyone see the new grill option for the 34PC. It was displayed at the Atlantic City boat show. I was thinking about installing it on my tub. It looks pretty cool and doesn't take up any room. I didn't see it yet but if Formula designed it it has to be top notch. Did anyone add this to their boat?

Pricing is shown...can't easily find a picture though.
On 34 and 31, plus others I assume.

Quite a big difference in price...although if you factor in discount, mounting, storage bag (most likely) etc...maybe not so bad.

I would SUPER interested to know how they are mounting it...wonder if they stole some of the members ideas ;D

The mount is a stainless steel pole approx 3-1/2 foot long. it mounts to the starboard stern section just to the right of the power/water hookup. The bottom section of the pole (approx 6") of the pole is bent @ approx 33 degrees, is flat and slides into a mounting bracket that is affixed to the starboard setion of the "utility hookup area". Maybe one of the TAG guys in Decatur can send us a picture.....

Not the "new" grills being offered as an option by Formula. At least the ones that were on the boats at the Atlantic City Boat Show in NJ were made by Coleman.....

Ok ladies and gentleman....ready to start drooling!

Notice the brand, the mount, the design HOT HOT HOT HOT!

Ok, this can be purchased through TAG team for all our boats, NOT just PC series.

Comes with mount, customer pole, grill, storage case, matching accesories, i.e. brush, flipper, etc.

All we gotta do is cough up the money and away you go!

Pricing will be what is the pricing is for your model boat if you were adding this new to your boat.

Anyways...this is WAY COOL! I WANT ONE!

Hey they took my grill..... I have the exact grill but with the removable post mount on the swim platform. I wonder is that support pole removable when you don't have the grill on it?

Oh heck yea...it just comes right off, and all you have is the mount - which is basically invisable.

That is not the grill that was on the boats @ the NY and Atlantic City Boat Shows. As referenced in my previous post, the grill was made by Coleman and looks a heck of allot better that the older style Magma Grill.

I currently have the Magma - Newport grill and installed 2 rod holders (1 port / 1 starboard) on my 2007 31 PC. When the grill is not in use, it is stowed in the starboard rod holder out of the way. When in use, i move it over to the port rod holder.

The price from Formula is $1,200 + which is completely nuts, in my opinion. You're paying approx $700 for a stainless steel pole and a mounting bracket.

Just my $.02

I don't expect to do a lot of grilling on board. So, I got a Coleman 2 burner camp stove that is only about 2" thick when closed and can stow almost anywhere. If it can't handle the duty, I'll up for the stainless model from Sam's that connects to the full size propane tank and work out something more permanent.

I bought a real nice 4 burner with a side burner and sear thingy a couple of years ago for the house. I'll bet I haven't even burned a full tank through it in 2 years.

Below are photos from Formula of the Magma Grill option installed on a 400 SS at the factory. Also below are the suggested retail prices from Formula.
