No AM/FM reception on my Kenwood headunit

It seems I can get radio reception.

Does anyone know where the antenna is located?
 
I HAVE A SEPARATE WIRE COMING OUT OF THE ANTENNA PORT, THAT LAYS BEHIND THE RADIO. SOME MANUFACTURERS WILL TAKE THE ANTENNA AND CONNECT IT TO THE BOW RAIL BOLT. NOT SURE WHAT YOU HAVE.

This is what I have but no reception, great HD TV reception but no radio...
Ill add it to my punch list.

You have Sirius on that boat don't you? Just curious because I have NO idea if my FM/AM works. The sirius subscription is so worth the money. I love how Sirius lets me do a 6 month plan for the boat and only charges me $6.99 per month since I also have it in my car.
 
Are you still having problems with the AM/FM reception SummerWind ??

I'm having the same problems and the dealer did come down and look at it and there is a wire connected to the bow rail, but still not totally happy with the reception qualities that I have.

Going to look into option like another antenna on the radar arch possibly or something else.
 
Yep, still no reception, Ill pull the unit to see whats not going on.
My 1st impression that the TV antenna was all in one still not sure.

Yes, I do have Sirius but I'm waiting until next season to activate.

I like listing to 94 WYSP on Sundays cause they boardcast the EAGLES game on Sundays.
