Oil Capacity

Recently purchased a 2000 41PC with Volvo 480's and want to start getting supplies to winterize. The previous owner has been very responsive to my daily texts but he moved to Florida so I am leaving him alone for a while. Just wondering Oil Capacity of the Volvos, been goggling it and came up with 6 gallons per motor, does that sound correct??

it should be in your manuals....I know mine are about 5 gal each, but not 100% about the 480's

Thank You, I did go the the manual but it seemed like a generic manual, covering many Volvo engines. Also on another note I just texted the previous owner and he survived Irma, and he was thinking about me, so I am waiting his response as to capacity.

If you go out to the VolvoPenta website and go to owners resources and select manuals then look up the engines you have either by serial number or description you should find the owners manual. For example i found the manual for the TAMD74P and it has a max capacity of 6.6 gallons or 25L according to the oil capacity page.
