OK, I'll go first

Here is my 1986 F206 Sypder. I love the open bow. I also love the fact that I haven't seen one like it in my area. As a matter of fact, I have only seen one other F206 in my area, and it was just going through town on the highway. Everyone on my little lake thinks my boat is pretty cool, they just don't like how loud it is. My boat has the Factory Thru Hull exhaust. I have to admit, sometimes it seems as if it is too loud. However, I love walking towards it after being at a friends for a BBQ and fireing it up. I have the idle set kinda low and it has that "lumpy" sound @ idle that makes me reminds me of cars that I had in my youth with a "hot" cam. I have put a lot of time & money in this boat, and I am not even close to being done, and that's OK. If you lifted the engine hatch, it would basically look like a 2004 model. Just about everything is new under the hatch, and I mean new, not rebuilt. The next "big" expence is the interior, it is hurtin'. I plan on making this boat "Mint" someday, it will just take me awhile to get there. I simply can't even imagine the cost to buy something that is equal to it today. I could probably afford it, I just don't want a boat payment.

One other comment, if I may, I LOVE the FACT that this boat, a big, heavy 20'6" boat does 59 mph & change GPS with a SBC that I got from a Chevy dealer. I would love to see more someday, and I will. I have about 6 hours on the thing in two seasons. I know that it sad, however, I will dial it in one of these days. Don't feel too bad for me, I have lot's of other toys to keep me busy on the water. The problem is, finding the time to use them! ::)

OK, the thread topic was "talk about your bowrider". I hope I got the ball rollin'

Surely I don't have the only Bowrider on here! Let's see 'um! And hear about 'em!
