On to the dash

Now that I have all the gauges, I think I'll install the dash before I get the seats in the way.

I'm assuming I don't need this back light gaggle that was on the original. I think I'll have to put a blade connector where the bulbs are if I'm figuring this right. Here's the backside of one of the gauges (Faria).

I don't know if this jumper wire set if for power, or ground. I have some Formula litterature here that I think has all the wiring in it.

I think I have it pretty much sorted out. Now, I have to decide what to do with the battery(s).

It had one in the very back next to the engine on each side. I'm thinking of moving them up under the rear seat, much easier to get to.

Joe, I used Faria Chesapeake SSs in mine and used the original harness by using a loop to spade adapter ;). Just bolt it to the back of the guage and push the wire onto that.

I spent most of the afternoon fighting with a plug wire that I had pulled apart earlier. Apparently these are supposed to be some high dollar wires. There was a metal binder that kept you from being able to spread the plug connector back out to reinsert the wire. I had to take a diamond blade on an angle grinder to get it off. Then I spread it, pushed the wire through the boot, and remade the connection. Next, I promptly pulled it back apart trying to slide the boot back down. :(

I'm not getting any power to the starter. I thought the battery was dead, but I hooked up a fully charged battery, and still didn't get anything. There are a couple of wires that some previous owner had somewhere or another, I suppose one of those wires energizes the starter solenoid. :(
