Parts for my silent thunder exhaust - flap on openings?

New to the forum, new Formula owner. 252 1996, 454 EFI. Oldie but goodie. Seems to be missing check valves for lack of better term on the exhaust. I cant find much on the old inner webs about this system. Looking for replacing.

i'll see if I can find a picture. Really they are just a stiff rubber material that was riveted in place. I would assume if you can find a similar material they would be rather easy to cut and make replacements.
 
Yes, that was my plan. Just making sure restricting was not a problem. Material seems to be a belting type industrial rubber.
