Plasteak Installation

Unforgettable

After much research (including barefoot test in the sun) I have decided to put the Gray Plasteak on my 2007 31 PC swim platform in the spring.

I am located @ the Jersey Shore (Brick / Point Pleasant) area and would appreciate any leads as to who a reliable/reputable installer would be.....

did you look into real teak?? I have had bare feet on both and the plastek stuff is just soo hot and the real stuff stays cool.

I was considering having a teak guy come on my 48 yacht and set it up nice. If you take a look at the 48 Sea Ray they come with real teak. I think it really adds a touch of class to the boat.

Not a fan of the aftermarket 3/8" teak installation here in the Northeast. To many climate changes that can cause cracking/checking not to mention the required teak upkeep.

Stood on the grey Plasteak on a new Formula @ the Atlantic City in-water Boat Show with bare feet in the very hot sun and it was okay. Now my only challenge is finding someone locally that can install it. I've seen a couple of after market installations that were lousy so I'm being somewhat anal in my search for the right installer.

That said, I guess I could fill out a Mortgage Application and have Formula send me one complete set from the Factory ;-)

I met the President of Plasteak at the show. I have his card at home, he did say he knew somebody out your way. I'll get you his info. over the weekend.
