Progress on saggy headliner

I purchased my 1999 41PC in September with the " Saggy Headliner " issue. The previous owner removed all of the ceiling panels in the v berth and purchased the upholstery and supplies but after owning the boat for 15 years he decided to throw in the towel on it and that is where I came in to buy it. I reupholstered the ceiling pieces and hung them and during the installation it amazed me how tight Formula made the clearances between the bulkhead and the underside of the deck... after some " choice words " I got the panels in as far as I could get them but unfortunately there is still a small gap at the bulkhead. I am going to take 1/4 round and wrap it in upholstery to disguise the gap since I physically cannot budge the ceiling panels any further.

I am going to head back to the boat tomorrow to contemplate removing the ceiling panels in the main cabin as they are sagging as well and I have enough upholstery to do the entire interior of the boat. In my situation with a kid on the way due in March I think that knocking this out now while I have the time is best LOL.
