Wondering how those of you with radar mounted the domes. I'm thinking of a combo mount with a light pole ( flag mount too). ordering a Garmin Fantom 18 dome. any pics? Thanks

I don't have pics of my Formula (yet), but I did a radar install on my old boat last year and ended up with a Seascan 4" light/mount combo.

My requirements were having the shortest possible mount while still offering a light bar (since I wanted the nav light centered on the boat); so this was my only choice.

I bought the same mount for my new Formula 350 -- install will be taking place in early April.

Here's my SeaScan 4" mount w/ light bar.

Just wanted to add a recommendation for Seascan. I spent a lot of time researching the various mounts and found them to be best combination of price and quality and also really easy to talk to knowledgeable person for questions and advice. FYI - they will customize any of their mounts as they are built to order - I didn't want to drill new holes so they matched my old mount base plate hole pattern and still shipped in 2 days!

make sure you guys get the boat's running attitude correct when mounting your radar cause if not your radar's scope will be well above the horizon.

Do you guys recall the thickness of the arch? I am prepping to install my radome's Seaview mount and want to get the right length of SS M8 bolts to have before i drill.

Secondly did you go with just the foam gasket or did you use sealant instead? I can go either way...

Thanks
