Removal of TV

I store my Formula inside, cold storage. Of course it will get below freezing. The TV info that came with the boat indicated the TV should not be used in temps below 40 degrees. I'm in the process of taking mine off and it has been brutal. Formal customer service has been very helpful but they did not design that TV for removal. I still have holes to drill but I thought I'd ask, do you owners in the deep freeze remove your TV?
Thanks

look up the model of the TV and see what the storage temperature range is for the product. It is typically a larger range than the operating temperature. Biggest issue is the expansion/contraction of things through the temperature range. BTW, might want to post in the topic (i.e. General, Your Formula etc) area your posts will see a bigger audience.

good idea relative to where to post
Formula customer service indicated I'm the first customer to ask so owners must not be removing them. However, my dealer and the owner of the storage facility said it must come off or it will be ruined if exposed to below freezing temperatures.
One thing is for certain, Formula did not install the TV on our boats to be removed.
Thanks for the response

How do TV's get shipped on a truck in the winter through the normal distribution channels. It must be below freezing.

I have owned my 07 31 PC since 07 which has 3 TV's on board. I have never taken them out of the boat and temps reached 10 below zero this past winter. Never had a problem with any of them. Just saying.....

My dealer and folks on the Hull Truth indicated the TV I have is a liquid crystal -- no idea what that means but I guess it can freeze and will show up as small black spots here and there on the screen when the TV is on. Got me. It's off and it was tough as the devil doing so.

Not to whop a dead horse but, I received a note from Sharp TV customer service -- they indicated the TV should not be stored in temperatures below freezing -- "will damage the liquid crystal". FWIW.
