Replace the interior halogen bulbs

I got some on eBay . . . the G4 type. Nothing special, a very common bulb. Those large 'fan' shaped versions may not fit in the existing light bases, so get the ones shaped more like the existing bulbs.

The OEM halogen bulbs draw about 1 amp of current each and get really hot, so definitely worth the upgrade.

I did go to superbrightleds and instead of bulbs I just bought the whole assembly. RLF-x12SMD was the pt #. A couple openings needed some mod but they popped right in. Couple bucks more than bulbs for the whole thing. JM2C

Cool I wonder if the lamp
fixtures you guys have in the 280?s cabin are the same as on the 260? This is one of those no brainers as long as its plug and play. These are the best pics i have of the lights in the cabin.

Here’s all the lights in an 02 330 in LED.

Cabin ceiling lights- http://www.superbrightleds.com/searc...g4-xwhp15-tac/ The larger tower style were too big. The flat disc style had the pins oriented such that they would have been 90 degrees off from where we needed them. I might have been able to bend the pins to fit, but these work well.
